Fast HVAC Service in Tolleson

Tolleson is a small city with a big working side: rooftop units on warehouses and shops, and split systems on the homes around them. We service both, and we know a commercial outage costs money by the hour.

Adams Refrigeration has worked from one Phoenix shop since 1947. Our technicians are paid hourly rather than on commission, and you get the price before work begins.

Every new residential system includes three years of maintenance. Call (602) 269-6447 or book online.

Local Know-How

From Vegetable Center to Distribution Hub

Walter and Alethea Tolleson founded the town in 1912, and it incorporated in 1929. By the 1950s it was known as the Vegetable Center of the World; today it is a distribution hub near Interstate 10 and Loop 101, with about 7,200 residents.

Homes in a Small City

Tolleson's neighborhoods mix older houses and newer builds. We check ducts and electrical service on older homes before recommending new equipment.

Commercial Rooftop Units

Warehouses, shops and offices here rely on packaged rooftop units. We repair and replace them, and can schedule maintenance visits so filters and coils are serviced on a regular cycle.

Permits and Utilities

Replacements are permitted through the City of Tolleson, and we file the permit. Your bill shows whether the property is on APS or SRP, which decides the rebate programs available.

Repair or Replace?

Commercial and residential systems age differently. These are the signs we weigh when you ask whether to repair or replace.

A Repair Usually Makes Sense

Fix it and keep going
  • Your system is under about 10 years old
  • The unit has been reliable with no repeat breakdowns
  • The repair cost is a small fraction of a new system
  • Energy bills have stayed steady, not climbing
  • The issue is a single, clearly identified part

It May Be Time to Replace

Upgrade for comfort and savings
  • The system is 12 to 15 years old or more
  • You are facing frequent or expensive repairs
  • Energy bills keep rising with no change in use
  • Some rooms never get comfortable
  • Your unit uses older, phased-out refrigerant

We inspect the system, explain what we find and give you a repair price and a replacement price side by side. Book an inspection or call (602) 269-6447.

I had my AC Blower Motor not working so air was not circulating inside the home. I had another company/technician do the diagnostic and was charging way too much for the repair(only labor charges). I reached out to Adam's as they are Authorized dealer for Carrier(my HVAC unit manufacturer). They were able to schedule the appointment quickly and also gave a courtesy call letting me know when the technician will arrive. The technician came with the part(as I already explained the issue to them), ran a quick diagnostic to ensure it was same problem and was done within an hour. Very reasonable priced(I compared quotes from multiple companies) and also took care of the issue.
